Glutathione
Tripeptide (Glu-Cys-Gly)
The body's principal intracellular thiol tripeptide (GSH), studied in redox-balance, detoxification and skin-brightening research.
Mechanism
Neutralises reactive oxygen species and recycles other antioxidants; it also inhibits tyrosinase (melanin synthesis), which underpins skin-brightening and redox research.
