How Pioneer Peptides Ltd collects, uses and protects personal information. Last updated 6 November 2026.
Who we are#
Pioneer Peptides Ltd (“Pioneer”, “we”, “us”) is a company registered in England & Wales, trading as Pioneer Research Peptides at pioneerpeptides.co.uk. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.

What we collect#

When you enter your email address at checkout, we save it with your name, country, order reference and basket straight away, so that we can help if the order does not go through — for example if a payment reaches us without an order to match it to.
If you don't finish the order, we may send you one email reminding you what was in your basket and offering help. We send it at most once per email address, and not at all if you tick “Don't send me a reminder” under the email box, if you place the order, or if you have asked us to stop emailing you. Replying “stop” to it means we will never email you about an unfinished order again. Your address is never added to a mailing list, and these details are deleted after 30 days if no order is placed.
We do not ask for, and do not want, information about your health. Please don't send it to us. Our products are supplied for laboratory research use only and we cannot advise on personal use.
Cookies and local storage#
This website does not use cookies, and carries no advertising, analytics or tracking technology of any kind. We do not profile visitors and we do not share data with advertising networks.
We store a small amount of information in your browser's local storage so the site works properly. It stays on your device, is never transmitted to us, and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

Why we use your information, and our lawful basis#
- To process and dispatch your order — performance of a contract with you.
- To help if a checkout does not go through — our legitimate interest in being able to contact you about an order you started, for example if a payment arrives without an order, or the order could not be completed. The single basket reminder described above is sent under the “soft opt-in” in regulation 22(3) of the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations: you gave us your address while arranging a purchase, the email is about that purchase, and you can refuse it at checkout and in the email itself.
- To answer enquiries — our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.
- To send you stock, batch and guide updates by email — your consent, given when you join the mailing list. You can withdraw it at any time.
- To keep accounting and tax records — compliance with our legal obligations.
- To keep the site secure and prevent fraud — our legitimate interest in protecting the business and our customers.
Marketing emails#
We only email you marketing if you asked us to. Every email includes a way to stop, and you can also unsubscribe at any time by emailing orders@pioneerpeptides.co.uk with “unsubscribe” in the subject line. We act on requests promptly.
We send stock alerts, new batch releases and laboratory guides. We do not sell, rent or share your email address with anyone for their own marketing.
Our WhatsApp updates channel#
At checkout there is an optional box, never ticked for you, asking us to send you the link to our WhatsApp updates channel. If you tick it, we record that you did, with the date and the wording you saw, and we include the link in your order confirmation and dispatch emails. If you do not tick it, those emails carry no link. Our lawful basis is your consent, and you can withdraw it at any time by emailing orders@pioneerpeptides.co.uk.
We never add anyone to the channel. You follow it yourself if you choose to, and you can unfollow it at any time from within WhatsApp. It is a one-way channel: we post, and followers cannot message each other or see each other’s phone numbers. WhatsApp (Meta) runs the channel under its own privacy policy, and your use of WhatsApp is governed by its terms.
Translating this website#
Every page has a language menu. Nothing is sent to Google unless you choose a language other than English. If you do, the page is translated by Google Translate: your browser loads Google’s translation script, sends it the text of the pages you view so it can translate them, and Google sets a cookie called googtrans to remember your language as you move between pages. Choosing “English” again removes it. Google processes this under its own privacy policy. Our lawful basis is that you asked for the translation.
Translations are automatic. The English version of every page is the one that applies, including our terms of supply, returns policy and the research-use declaration you make at checkout.
Who we share it with#
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with organisations that help us run the business, and only as far as they need it:
- Netlify — website hosting and the forms you submit
- Our bank — to receive and reconcile payments
- Delivery carriers — the name and address needed to deliver your parcel
- Our accountant — for bookkeeping and statutory accounts
We may also disclose information where we are legally required to, for example to a regulator, law enforcement or a court.
International transfers#
Our hosting provider operates servers outside the United Kingdom, so your information may be processed abroad. Where that happens we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or an adequacy decision covering the country concerned.

Your rights#
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- have inaccurate information corrected
- ask us to delete information, where we have no continuing reason to keep it
- ask us to restrict how we use it, or object to our use of it
- receive information you gave us in a portable format
- withdraw consent to marketing at any time

Complaints#
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the UK regulator:

Age#
This website is intended for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us their details, contact us and we will delete them.
Security#
The site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are encrypted in transit. Access to order and enquiry data is limited to those who need it to run the business. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you give us.
Changes to this policy#
If we change how we use personal information we'll update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be announced on the website.
