Terms of supply

What you are agreeing to when you order from us — how an order is accepted, what you pay, when it ships, and where you stand if something goes wrong.

These terms apply to every order placed through pioneerpeptides.co.uk. Our shipping, returns and privacy pages form part of them. Nothing here removes a right the law gives you; where these terms and the law disagree, the law wins.

Who you are buying from#

Pioneer Peptides Ltd, trading as Pioneer Research Peptides. A UK limited company registered in England & Wales, company no. 17392936, registered office 66 Paul Street, London, England, EC2A 4NA. You can reach us at orders@pioneerpeptides.co.uk.

What we sell, and what it is for#

We supply synthetic research peptides and laboratory consumables for in-vitro laboratory research use only. They are not licensed medicines. They are not for human or veterinary consumption, and not for diagnostic or therapeutic use.

You must be 18 or over to order. By placing an order you confirm that you are buying for genuine research purposes, and that the material may lawfully be supplied to you where you are. We do not advise on dosing or on human or veterinary use, and we will not answer questions about it.

How an order is accepted#

A listing on this site is an invitation to order, not an offer. Placing an order is you offering to buy. The contract between us is formed when we send you dispatch confirmation — not when you place the order, and not when your payment reaches us.

Until then we may decline an order, in whole or in part, and refund you in full. We would do that if an item turned out to be out of stock, if a price was obviously wrong, if we cannot lawfully ship to your destination, or if we do not believe the order is for research use. We would rather turn an order down than take money for something we should not send.

Prices#

All prices are in pounds sterling. The price shown when you order is the price you pay. Delivery is charged separately and shown to you before you commit — the rates are on the shipping page.

What it isHow it works
Volume discountApplied automatically, from 5% at £200 rising to 15% at £2,500
Crypto paymentA further 3% off the order
Free UK deliveryOn UK orders over £100
Discount codesOne code per order; codes cannot be combined with each other

Where a code is described as a first-order or single-use code, it is honoured once. A code does not stack on top of another code, though it does apply alongside the volume and crypto discounts where the terms of that code allow it.

VAT. No VAT is added to the prices shown, and we do not issue VAT invoices.

If a price is wrong. Prices are entered by hand and occasionally one will be wrong. If the error is obvious, we will contact you before dispatching and you can either confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it for a full refund. We will not quietly dispatch at an obviously wrong price and treat the order as accepted.

Payment#

We accept bank transfer and cryptocurrency. Orders are dispatched once payment has cleared. Bank transfers usually clear the same day by Faster Payments; crypto clears on network confirmation.

Crypto payments are made in the amount quoted at the time of the order. Network fees are yours. If what arrives is short of the quoted amount we will contact you rather than part-dispatch or cancel without telling you.

We hold your order for 5 working days while we wait for payment. After that it lapses, and you are welcome to order again.

Dispatch and delivery#

Orders placed before 2pm on a working day are dispatched the same day, once payment has cleared. Items marked made to order carry a stated lead time, currently 1–2 weeks, shown on the product before you order.

Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees. We dispatch when we say we will; what happens after that is the carrier’s.

UK orders are held in UK stock and dispatched domestically, so there is no customs stage and no import charge.

Overseas orders go to selected countries only. Any duty, import VAT or carrier handling fee is payable by you, not by us, and is not included in what you pay here. Import rules differ by country and some compounds cannot lawfully be sent to some destinations — please check before you order. We do not ship to the Republic of Ireland.

Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. The full detail is on the shipping page.

Cancelling, returning and refunds#

The returns and refunds policy forms part of these terms and sets this out in full. In short:

SituationWhat happens
Sealed and unopened, within 14 days of deliveryReturn it for a full refund
Vial opened, unsealed or reconstitutedCannot be returned — sterility cannot be assured
Damaged in transit, or the wrong itemReplacement or full refund, your choice
Does not match its certificate of analysisFull refund, including postage

The exclusion for opened vials is the sealed-goods exemption on health-protection and hygiene grounds, under regulation 28(3) of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. It applies to changing your mind. It does not apply when we have got something wrong.

Where we stand if something goes wrong#

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

What we are supplying. Each product is a research material, as described on its product page and, where one is published, on the certificate of analysis for its batch. That is what we promise it is. We do not say — and nothing on this site should be read as saying — that any product is suitable, safe or intended for administration to a person or an animal, and at checkout you confirm you will not use it that way. We give no guidance on use, and nothing on this site is advice.

After delivery. Storage is then in your hands. Heat, light, moisture and repeated agitation degrade peptides, and deterioration caused after delivery is not a fault in the goods. If you report a problem we will ask how the material was stored.

If you are buying as a consumer. Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply in full, and nothing on this page takes them away. If we break this contract or are negligent, we are responsible for loss you suffer that was a foreseeable result — that is, loss that was obvious would happen, or that we both knew might happen when the order was placed. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable.

If you are buying as a business — a company, university or laboratory, or anyone buying in the course of a trade or profession — our total liability to you arising from an order is limited to the price paid for that order. We are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, data, research time or goodwill, or for any indirect or consequential loss. None of this limits anything listed at the top of this section.

Certificates of analysis#

A certificate covers the batch it names and reports what the issuing laboratory measured on the sample it received. Each carries the laboratory’s own verification key, so you can check any figure with the laboratory directly rather than take ours for it. Certificates are available on request: ask for the one for the batch we would ship you before you order if you want to see it first.

Complaints#

Email orders@pioneerpeptides.co.uk with your order reference and what has gone wrong. We will respond and tell you what we propose to do about it. If you are not satisfied with the answer, say so — we would rather be told than lose you quietly.

Changes to these terms#

We may change these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published at the time you placed it. This version was published on 26 October 2026.

Governing law#

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in the courts where you live.
