Bacteriostatic water (multi-use)
Bacteriostatic water (with 0.9% benzyl alcohol) used as a multi-use solvent for reconstituting research peptides over several days.
Mechanism
The benzyl-alcohol preservative inhibits bacterial growth, allowing a reconstituted vial to be drawn from multiple times within its stability window.
